With the help of many of our partners, we made huge strides last week. We helped pushed our multi-year #MetroFundWalkBike campaign closer to the finish line at two key Metro committees, published our take on Metro’s revised expenditure plan and helped to impact the revision of the proposed countywide ordinance, and co-hosted an amazing and inspiring partner appreciation party dubbed “Traction on Traction” with the Impact Hub LA.
On behalf of Investing in Place and our advisory board, we wanted to take a moment to thank all our partners for your support, friendship, and help. Our special gratitude goes to those who have joined and supported our conference calls, public testimonies, webinars, comment letters, convenings, and collaborative discussions. It really takes a village, and we’re glad to do this work with you all.
If you couldn’t attend, no worries. We’ll be planning more special parties at the Impact Hub in the future. Hope you can join us!
Also, special thanks to all those who helped support Investing in Place with a financial contribution that night. It’s with your kindness and financial support that inspires and drives the work we do at Investing in Place. John and I can’t thank you enough.
