What’s next for Measure M Implementation? Find out June 6th at the Metro PAC

Please join us for the June Metro Policy Advisory Council (PAC) meeting on Tuesday, June 6th from 10am-12pm at the SCAG Headquarters in Downtown LA. You can also call into this meeting and listen at: 213-922-4940.  The PAC meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.

The PAC brings together 27 committee members, each with an alternate, spread across 3 groups of stakeholders (Jurisdictions/Council of Governments, Providers and Consumers) to provide input and recommendations on Measure M draft guidelines and the upcoming Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) to Metro staff and the Metro Board of Directors.

At the June 6th meeting, Metro staff will present the revised Draft Measure M Guidelines and the proposed changes for the PAC’s discussion and input.  It is expected the Metro Board will adopt final Measure M guidelines at the Board meeting on June 22nd – so these final discussions and opportunities for input are key.

As the guidelines mark a key step toward the implementation of Measure M’s promise to provide Los Angeles County residents with access to a safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable transportation system. This report will be the first iteration of the Draft Measure M Guidelines after the comment deadline last week.

See the comment letter we submitted with many partners last week.

We are excited to see what feedback has been considered and where there are areas for us to continue to engage and advocate and impact billions of transportation investments for Los Angeles County.

We hope you can join us!

These meeting are open to the public and public comment is adhered.
