ACT-LA’s Transit Oriented Communities Town Hall

ACT LA will be hosting a Transit Oriented Communities Town Hall with Metro at the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 East 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 from 6-8PM.

Los Angeles County is making a groundbreaking $160 billion investment in public transportation and mobility. Now we must ensure the buildout goes hand in hand with equitable development strategies. Join ACT-LA for a town hall meeting with Metro Board members and staff to discuss how we can ensure transit investments support community development, anti-displacement strategies, good job creation, and more. Learn about the upcoming policy landscape and what communities of color are doing to ensure equity in transit-oriented development.
